Overdose killed Thai man in Oklahoma | Bangkok Post: news

OKLAHOMA CITY: A Thai man whose body was found along the side of a highway in the US state of Oklahoma in July died from a methamphetamine overdose, police say. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) reported on Friday that 41-year-old Thanakrit Thuetong died from acute methamphetamine toxicity. Thanakrit's body was found on July 28 along the side of state Highway 56 in Seminole County, a few hundred metres from Interstate Highway 40. Surveillance video showed him inside the store with a black backpack, then walking past his car and along the highway. Jessica Brown, with the OSBI, said his body was found about 600 metres from the store; however, the backpack was not found.
